The Social Event Is SET for July 21st!
The Toronto Volunteer Bridge’s much anticipated 4th social event is booked! The July 21st event will be held at Montana Restaurant and Bar, located at 145 John St. This will be a chance for you to come out and meet people like you – volunteers or aspiring volunteers or those just looking to understand what they could do in the future – in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. We are encouraging all of our volunteers to use this occasion to speak with, and find out more about, our partnering organizations who will be in attendance. As well, come learn more about our upcoming “one-off” events and tell the TVB team about how it can serve you better!
The social event is also a way for TVB to introduce itself to new members. If you know of anyone who would be interested in volunteering, or who just wants to find out more about what TVB does, please bring them out! We’re always looking for new and eager individuals to come out and join our community of volunteers.
The fun begins at 6:30 and will run until around 9. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to contact Mark Grimwood at mark@volunteerbridge.ca
Get In The Game!
It’s not too late to sign-up for this month’s one-off, the HOPE Volleyball tournament being held at Toronto Centre Islands. A volunteer information session for the event is Tuesday night, so contact Mark on Monday at the latest! This is going to be a fantastic event, with great volleyball surrounded by live music, entertainment and a beer garden. We’re looking for those interested in volunteering to help in a variety of areas, as well those who’d be interested in putting together a team!
The event is being held on June 18. If you didn’t receive our last newsletter and would like more information about the event, check out the website at www.hopevolleyball.com.
If you’re interested in volunteering or in putting together a team, send Mark Grimwood an email, or give him a call at 416.955.4263.
